Meet Your Hosts
Suzanne Burns, MS, CFTP* founded and leads a thriving maternity home. The author of 6 books and several video training series, on ministry startup and trauma-informed care, Suzanne and her team have trained hundreds of organizations to implement practical tools to serve "the least of these" more effectively.
Lisa Holmes, MACS, CFTP*, is Director of Client Services, serving alongside Suzanne. She oversees all aspects of client services, including housing, case management, court advocacy, job training, volunteer management, and sustainable stability. Lisa is a regionally recognized speaker and trainer in areas of practical response to addiction, recovery, and parenting while in recovery. She is also passionate about training and support for front-line and live-in staff, in areas of secondary trauma, self-care, and reducing burnout.
